Prenatal yoga is truly wonderful practice, a time of nurturing & connecting to both yourself and the new life inside you. Yoga can also help alleviate many of the side effects of pregnancy, from shortness of breath & back pain to anxiety & sleeplessness. And many more.
At the moment I am not running any Pregnancy-specific classes. I can hugely recommend the lovely Gaye Kent who teaches in Plymouth (Quaker House, Mutley).
If you would like to practice in the Tavistock/Horrabridge area, then please get in touch to ask about suitability for my evening classes. I welcome mums-to-be in in both my Wednesday & Thursday classes, which have plenty of restorative yoga options towards the end, encouraging deep rest & relaxation.. The practice will be different for every body, depending on previous yoga experience, your other activities & how you are feeling in your pregnancy, and even week to week. The practices will be suitable for all, with modifications provided. You will be guided to listen to your own body & adapt each practice to suit where you are in each moment.
Please get in touch if you would like more information.
